Name: Prince of Wales
Location: Alcester Road, Moseley
General: traditional pub
Rooms: main bar, two separate rooms, large beer garden and covered smoking area
Drinks: good selection including ales, reasonably priced for Moseley
Food: hot food served plus delicatessen(!)
Access: Well-lit, main street location, free parking on road in the evenings.
Wifi: no public wifi
Management: friendly
Other: children and dogs allowed

Name: Rooty Frooty
Location: Custard Factory, Digbeth
General: cafe-style bar
Rooms: main room, plus side room (not completely enclosed so can still hear noise from main room)
Drinks: bar, tea and coffee, plus fridge with non-alcoholic selection
Food:
Access: Can be a bit deserted in the evenings, perhaps not good for winter meetings for people travelling alone
Wifi: free wifi
Management: friendly
Other: have to be out of there by 9pm
